Reprint
The reprint feature allows a user to reprint that specific version of the document for which a controlled print is issued. The system increments the reprint counter that is displayed on the summary record to track the number of copies that are in circulation, but does not alter the suffix on the Print ID.
The reprint feature is not available for a user if the print is expired by the system or recalled by a user.
To reprint a controlled print document:
- Access Controlled Print Report
- Click Reprint
The system presents the Reprint Controlled Print window which contains three sections:
- Document Information with the document name and the version
- Printout Information with Printout ID, Label, Status, last Printed By, Last Printed On, and Last Print Reason details
- Print Action Information which requires the user to enter a reason for the reprint
- Enter a reason for reprinting in the Reason For Reprint textbox
- Click Submit
If the textbox is blank when the request is submitted, an error message is displayed and the action will not be completed
- Click Print icon
- Select a printer
- Click OK
