Controlled Printing

The controlled printing feature provides the ability for a user to perform the following actions based upon the environment configurations:

• Issue a controlled print
• Reprint a copy
• Recall a controlled print

The system performs expiration of controlled print records automatically when a subsequent version of the document is made effective.

The controlled print report tracks all controlled print activity. Additionally, the system allows the user to perform operations on a document for which a control print is issued previously.
