Unique Permission Levels

The system uses the following several unique permission levels to provide additional security.

1. NextDocs Lifecycle permission level - This permission level is granted to users with responsibility to transition the document from one lifecycle status to another. The users who are granted this permission level can see the Change Lifecycle Status option on the document or document request ECB. When a document is transitioned to Approval stage, the system locks the document. This action allows all users with Contribute permissions to read the document and removes the NextDocs Lifecycle permission level, thereby removing visibility to the ECB option. If the document is rejected or the approval workflow is terminated, the document permissions are reset to their pre-approval stage settings
2. New Document Request Creation permission level - The permission level is granted to the users with responsibility to create documents or submit new document requests through the Smart Document User Interface
