Package Deployment

The package deployment feature helps a user to export or deploy a file with the type .ndp. The system uses a set of NextDocs Package Files (NDP) files to configure a new document management site. The NDP Files are xml files that contain specifications for lists, content types, groups, list items, features, lifecycles, and a constantly expanding set of entities created on a site or a workspace when the NDP is deployed through our custom page or as part of a feature activation.

Warning: All custom configurations should be included in the NDP files prior to deployment so that the NDP file deployment does not overlay your customization.
