Location List Population

The location list contains the location and the location code. By default, this list is empty for a new site.

The location indicates the location of the organization responsible for the document.

To add locations to the list:

  1. Select View All Site Content from the Site Actions menu
  2. Scroll down and select Locations
  3. Click Add new item
  4. Enter any value in the Title textbox
  5. Enter the location in the Location textbox
  6. Enter a code for the location in the Location Code textbox
  7. Click Save
