Function |
Synchronizes replies to discussion, blog, and idea events from the Social News Stream back into site content, where they become replies on the original item. This job is intended to continuously run and ping the Enterprise Service Farm twice a minute for batch data to write back to SharePoint's content database(s). |

Consequences of stopping |
Comments made on discussion or blog items in the stream do not become replies on the original blog or discussion item. However, replies on the original blog or discussion item still become new comments on the corresponding stream item. |
