Creating a message - Step 5: Text versions
On the Text page, you can create a text version of your message for recipients who cannot view HTMLHypertext Markup Language. A set of tags used to mark the structural elements of text files. HTML files include tags that create hyperlinks to other documents on the Internet. email messages.
If your message is in Multi-part/HTML format and you have added HTML, you can create the text version from your HTML code. Alternately, you can upload content from a text file.
Creating the text version from HTML code
This option is available only if your message is in Multi-part/HTML format.
On the right navigation bar, click Create Text from HTML.
The HTML content is added to the text message.
Uploading content from a text file
- On the right navigation bar, click Upload Text.
- Click Browse, navigate to the file you want, and click Open.
- Click Upload.
The content is added to the message and the Upload Text page closes.
Previewing your work
Select the Preview Text tab.
Next steps
After you finish, click SAVE and do one of the following:
- Click Back to return to the HTML page.
- Click Save & Next to add notes and tasks.
