Manage files which have no checked in version
The Manage files which have no check in version link allow you to manage files that do not have a checked in version in a library that has the Require Check Out enabled. In a “Require Check Out” library, documents created using the New Document command and documents uploaded through the Upload link remain checked out until they are actively checked in by a user with the appropriate credentials. If there is no checked in version, it will not appear to users in the library.
- Click on Manage files which have no check in version.
- To take ownership of a document that does not have a checked in version:
- Click on the check box next to the file.
- Click on the Take Ownership of Selection link on the toolbar.
- Click OK on the confirmation dialog to confirm the action or on the Cancel button to abort.
