Relationship Deletion Permission

The relationship delete permissions determine who has permission to delete a relationship based on this type, and in what lifecycle statuses. If users do not have permissions, the delete link will not appear for them next to the relationship on the relationship screen.

The allowable selections are:

• Site owners or members, custom groups or users
• Primary Author of the specific document

The two options are not mutually exclusive. For example, you can specify a custom group and the Primary Author.

Permissions are granted for specific lifecycle states. For example, you may allow the Primary Author to delete a relationship when the parent document is in a Draft status, and a Business Administrators SharePoint group to delete the relationship when the parent document is in a Draft, In Review and Approved status.
