SharePoint Groups

Ultimately, each user’s view of the system is dependent on the rights granted to him by you. To create and manage these rights, NextDocs leverages SharePoint’s User Group permissions which are configured and managed through the People and Groups option on the Site Settings screen.

Windows SharePoint Services uses Windows users and domain groups and Windows authentication methods to manage and authenticate users. You can either add or remove Windows user accounts directly to/from your site or add or remove them to/from SharePoint groups to manage user accounts at the top-level Web site or subsite level.
