Update Fields

Update Fields updates content metadata on the word document with the current value in that metadata field.

In order for the content text field to be updated, the following rules apply:

• The document is of the Microsoft Word 97-2003 Document (.doc) or Microsoft Word Document (.docx) format.
• The corresponding SharePoint column has been assigned to the document.
• The corresponding SharePoint column has a value.
• The document is not locked.
• The metadata is formatted as a document property on the document content.

If there is an exception to one or more of the rules, the system will not error and the content text field will not be updated.
