Configure PDF Security

  1. Click on the checkbox for PDF Security to open the security settings options. Set the options as follows:
    • Click on the checkbox for No Changing Document to disable PDF document modification.
    • Click on the checkbox for No Content Accessibility to disable PDF document access.
    • Click on the checkbox for No Document Assembly to disable PDF document assembly (convert multiple documents to one PDF document).
    • Click on the checkbox for No Form Fillin to disable PDF form fill-in (A PDF fill-in form is a copy of a PDF document that contains blanks to be completed by the user. When printed, the information entered in the blanks will be incorporated with the document.)
    • Click on the checkbox for No High Quality Printing to disable high quality printing.
    • Click on the checkbox for No Printing to disable printing.
    • Click on the checkbox for No Selection Copying Content to disable copying the content of a PDF document.
    • Click on the checkbox for Open Password to apply password security to document access. If checked, the system will provide two textboxes: one for entering the password and one for confirming the password. If checked, the password and the password confirmation must agree before you will be allowed to save the security settings and leave the screen.
    • Click on the checkbox for Security Password to apply password security. This password will be required before a user can change any security options. If checked, the system will provide two textboxes: one for entering the password and one for confirming the password.
