Manual Workflow Initiation Method Training Activities
When a document is added to training for a role with a manual workflow initiation ethod, a training record is created with the training status of Enabled for each trainee associated with the role.
An administrator or a responsible role manager can subsequently start the training workflow manually either for the role or for an individual training record. When the workflow is manually started, the system initiates all the activities associated with training workflow initiation defined in the section titled Training Workflow Initiation Activities in this guide.
Attention: After manually starting training for a role or a training record, the
user should wait a few minutes and confirm that the workflow has successfully started.
Manual Workflow Initiation for a Role
To manually initiate training on a role:
- Select Roles from the Quick Launch bar.
- Select Start Training Workflow from the role’s context menu.
Manual Workflow Initiation for a Training Record
To manually initiate training for a specific training record:
- Select Training Matrix from the Quick Launch bar
- Select Trainee Training Records
- Click Show Results and OK to confirm and continue or click Advanced Search, enter filter criteria, and click Show Results
- Select Start Training Workflow from the training record’s context menu
