Training Workflow Initiation Activities

As soon as the training workflow is initiated manually or automatically, the following activities occur for each associated training record:

• The Training Status field is set to Active
• The Date Training Started field is set to the current date
• The Date Training Due field is calculated based upon the current date and a configurable value defined in the workflow (defaulted to 14 days in the applied workflow)
• The workflow status in the trainee’s training record is set to Training Workflow In Progress
• The associated trainee receives an e-mail notification that a training task has been assigned to the trainee.
