Manage Site Features

Access the Site Settings Features Page

On the site where the features are to be activated or deactivated:

1. Click on the down arrow for Site Actions to open the menu.
2. Click on the Site Settings link.
3. In the Site Actions section on the Site Settings page click on the Manage Site Features link.
   • Inactive features will have an Activate button to the right of the feature name and the Status will be blank.
   • Active features will have a Deactivate button to the right of the feature name and the Status will be set to Active.
4. On the Site Collection Features page, to the right of the feature to be managed, click on the Activate or Deactivate button depending on the action to be taken.
5. The feature status will be refreshed to reflect the results of the action taken.
