Approval Task Page

The approval task page contains a textbox that identifies the document to be approved. The textbox identifies the properties such as the document name, the title, the version number and the author, provides a link to the document and the document’s metadata.

To complete the approval process:

  1. Access the To-Do list on the home page
  2. Click Required Action that contains the document name in the task title
  3. On the task page, click on the document name to open the document for review
  4. Optionally, close the document and click Additional Details link to review the document’s metadata
  5. Click Approve or Reject
    1. To approve the document:
      1. Enter a valid password
      2. Select a reason for signing from the Reason menu
    2. To reject the document:
      1. Click Reject
      2. Enter a valid password
  6. When the document is approved or rejected, you must provide comments for the author in the Comments textbox and click Submit to complete the review task
