Special Considerations for using Primary Author with the Smart Document feature:

To use the Primary Author properly in a library where the Smart Document feature is used, several additional configuration steps are needed for the feature to work properly:

1. Create the library which is going to be used for Smart Document and document Relationship.
2. Enable Document Relationship on the library.
3. Add the Smart Document content type to that library.
4. Import all Regulatory Content Types either manually, by NDP file, or through regulatory feature activations.
5. Manually add “PrimaryAuthor” column to each Content Type that will be used by Smart Document.
