Add an Action
- Add an action:
Drag the action from the Workflow Actions Bar and drop it onto a drop zone, or
Right click on the drop zone, select Insert Action and choosing an action from the list menu.
Note that when you add an action to a drop zone, two new drop zones are added: one before and one after the new action.
- Configure the action.
Most workflow action can be configured to your needs. When an action is added to a drop zone, you will notice that it contains a yellow caution icon indicating that there is a missing required field.
- Hover over the action and a dialog appears with a warning and a list of required fields to be configured.
- Click on the down arrow on the title bar and a menu opens. The menu contains at least three (3) options: Configure; Copy; and Delete.
- Select Configure, the system presents the Configure action window for that action. The required fields are identified with a red asterisk (*).
- Hover over the action and a dialog appears with a warning and a list of required fields to be configured.
