Optimizing your message for America Online users
Recent versions of America Online software read HTMLHypertext Markup Language. A set of tags used to mark the structural elements of text files. HTML files include tags that create hyperlinks to other documents on the Internet. email, but some older versions do not. To ensure that your email is readable by the maximum number of AOL users, you can take out the multi-part portions and send only the text version to them.
In the Aurea Campaign Manager interface:
- In the side navigation bar, click Email Marketing > Launch Emaillabs.
This opens the EmailLabs interface in a new tab or browser, depending on your browser settings.
- On the left side of the EmailLabs interface, click List Settings. List Settings page appears.
To only send the AOL version to AOL recipients, in the AOL settings section, click Only send AOL version to AOL recipients.
