Uncontrolled Printing Options

The uncontrolled copy allows a user to print the document with the appropriate disclaimer. The uncontrolled copy is for information or reference only.

As the permission levels are not defined at a site level, the system provides the ability to establish them at the activation level. The system does not track and manage uncontrolled print copies.

The configuration provides the following optional features:

• Establish the permission level required for uncontrolled printing
• Apply a pre-configured overlay template at the time when the document is printed
• Configure the look of the banner that is printed at the bottom of each page:
  • Define the text that is printed on the banner
  • Select the color of the text
• Configure a custom label for the NextDocs (ECB) menu
