Add from existing site content types

  1. Navigate to the List Setting screen.
  2. Scroll down the page and select Add from existing site content types under Content types.
  3. On the Add Content types from Site Content types screen:

    Select the group that you used to store your site content types from the Select site content types from drop down to filter the list of available content types.

    Select the content types to be added from the Available site content types box and click the Add button.

    Note: You can only add a content type once to each list. Once it has been added to a list it will no longer appear in the Available site content types box for that list.

Change new button order and default content type

  1. Click on Change new button order and default content type.
  2. On the Change New Button Order screen:
    • Ensure that the checkboxes are checked for the content types to be displayed.
    • Ensure that the checkboxes are not checked for the content types to be hidden.
    • Modify the entries in the Position from Top boxes to determine the order of display.
