Open

Open provides a link to the Open Workflow window. The Open Workflow window contains a gallery of the existing workflows for the active environment. Additionally, the Open Workflow window contains all versions of each workflow.

Open allows you to open any published or saved version of the workflow. Opening a prior version does not cause the most recent version to be lost.

To open an existing workflow while in the Nintex Workflow Designer:

1. Click on the Open command on the ribbon.
2. When the Open Workflow dialog is presented, click on the workflow to be opened.
3. Click on the Select command in the Actions group.

To select a previous version of a workflow:

1. Click on the Open button on the ribbon.
2. Click on the expansion button (+) to the left of the workflow title. A minor version of the workflow is created each time the workflow is saved. When the workflow is published, a major version is saved. These versions are available to be recalled as follows:
   • Click on the version to be opened and click on the Select command; or
   • Double click on the version to be opened and the version will be opened in the designer window.
