Electronic Signature
The electronic signature feature do not require signature fields on the document but do require a PDF template. The feature can be applied to only PDF documents either rendered or uploaded. The signature template can hold one to three signatures. The first template page is added to the end of the document when the first approver signs. A new template page is added each time the document is signed if the previous page already has three signatures.
The electronic signature feature requires a username, a password, a reason for signing, and user comments. The following figure contains the electronic signature audit log and authentication window.
The following task page displays a signature line with information concerning any previous sign event to all subsequent approvers. This information includes the user who signed, the reason selected and the date and the time of the sign event.
