Security and Notification Groups
The system will automatically create three security and notification groups at the hub site. The clinical trial workspace security and notifications groups that are created when a new clinical trial is added will inherit their permissions from the hub level Security and Notification Groups. They include:
- Visitors – the visitors group has read permissions and will be granted read-only access to hub and trial workspaces.
- Members – The members group has contribute permissions. In addition to the
permissions granted to the visitors group, the members will have the following
permissions:
- Create, edit, review and approve documents in the hub and trial workspaces,
- Initiate lifecycle stage changes and start workflows during the authoring phases of the document’s lifecycle.
- Owners – the owners group has full control permissions. In addition to the
permissions granted to the visitors and members groups, the owners can will have the
following permissions:
- Create and edit list entries,
- Terminate workflows.
