Document Approval

If all designated approvers approve the document, the following processes occur:

  • The workflow will complete and the Workflow Status will be updated to “Approval Complete”.
  • Email notification of document approval is sent to the workflow initiator if the initiator is not the author.
  • The permissions will be set to the pre-approval permission status.
  • The document will be declared a record.
  • The Lifecycle Status will be updated to Final.
  • The What’s Missing List item associated with the document will be updated from Missing to Final.
  • The What’s Missing List item associated with the document will be updated to include a link to the document.
