Create a Site Collection to be used as a Trial Workspace Template

A user with administrative privileges can create a new trial workspace template on the Central Administrative site. The administrator will need the name of the SQL server and the Hub site URL.

To create a template, the administrator will:

  1. Access the Central Administrative site.
  2. For multilingual solutions:
    • Confirm that the NextDocs Clinical Configurations is set for the correct primary language hub.
    • Confirm that NextDocs Multiple Site Collection Configuration is set for the correct primary language hub.
    • Confirm that Database Configuration for Multiple Site Collection Configuration is set to the correct default language.
  3. Click on the Create Site Collections link under Application Management.
  4. Select the web application for the clinical application.
  5. Enter a title for the template site in the Title textbox.
  6. Enter a description for the template site in the Description textbox.
  7. Enter an extension for the site URL.
  8. Select the primary site language for the site collection from the menu.
  9. Click on the NextDocs tab and select Document Management Site.
  10. Enter the User-ID of the primary site collection administrator.
  11. Optionally enter a secondary site collection administrator.
  12. Leave the quota template set as No Quota.
  13. Click on the “OK” button.

The system will display a message that the top-level site was created along with the site collection URL.
