Access Smart Document UI

To create a new document, the user will access the Smart Document UI as follows:

  1. Access the file library.
  2. Open the Document ribbon by clicking on Documents under the Library Tools tab.
  3. Select Smart Document from the New Document menu in the New group on the Document ribbon.

The system will return the Smart Document UI. The UI allows the user to either create a document from a standard template (default) or to create a document from an uploaded file. If the user chooses to upload a document, the system will provide a “Browse” button to locate and select the document to be uploaded.
