Review Task Page

The review task page contains a textbox which identifies the document to be reviewed. The textbox identifies the properties, including document name, title, version number, and author and provides a link to the document, and a link to the document’s metadata (Additional Details).

To complete the review, the user will:

  1. Select the review task either from the To-do list by clicking on the link provided in the Required Action column or from the email notification by clicking on the link to the task.
  2. Click on the document name to open the document for review.

    Track Changes will be enabled to capture the user’s comments and markups on the document’s content. The system will prompt the user to check the document in. Other reviewers will not see his or her comments, or be able to add their own comments while the document remains checked out.

  3. Optionally, click on the Additional Details link to view the document’s metadata.
  4. When finished reviewing, he or she must provide comments for the author in the Comments textbox and click on the “Submit” button to complete the review task.
