Sync Notify Settings

During a Directory Sync, user and mailing list information is transferred to the data center. Users and mailing lists are deleted from the system if their information is not provided during the sync. This feature sends an email warning to Fault Alert list members if the percentage of users or lists deleted during a sync exceeds the threshold amount. See also Manage AMS Fault Alerts.

Configure the user/mailing list deletion percentage at which a warning message is sent:

  1. From the AMS Admin Console, click System Settings.
  2. Click Sync Notify Settings.
  3. In the Sync Notification Settings section, Deletion Threshold field, enter the percentage of deleted users or distribution lists above which the system should send a warning message.
  4. Click Submit.
