Services

The Aurea Messaging Solutions suite includes the following email services. Each product uses software housed at the Data Center (see Data Center/AMS Admin Console) and on your organization’s mail servers (see Client-Side Software).

  • Email Continuity: Email Continuity is an alternative email service that takes the place of your primary email system during a planned or emergency outage. See Email Continuity for more information.
  • Historical Mail/Email Archival: Historical Mail/Email Archival captures and archives incoming and outgoing mail messages and attachments according to criteria you define in configurable retention policies. These messages and attachments are stored in a secure data center. For more details, see Historical Mail/Email Archival.

AMS also includes the options of:

AlertFind Integration: If your organization uses AlertFind, you can take advantage of regular synchronization to extend your Active Directory data to the AlertFind service. Directory synchronizations from Active Directory to the AMS data center take place according to the schedule established in the AMS SyncManager component. In a separate process run in the data center, Aurea migrates the Active Directory data you’ve selected to the AlertFind application. With AlertFind integration, you can update your directory data as often as once per day. For more information, see:

Mobile App end-user access: The AMS Mobile App provides the ability for end-users to access Email Continuity and Email Archival functionality through native application interfaces. The features that are available to the end-user depend upon which AMS services have been purchased by your organization. For more information see:

Cloud Services support: The AMS Email Archival function provides support for external "Cloud-based" email platforms. AMS Cloud Services currently supports Microsoft Office 365 in hybrid environments. For more information see:
