Contracts and Bundles
Various products stored for customers can be grouped to form contracts and bundles.
You can use a contract to group a building society savings account, a loan and an insurance policy, for example.
Contracts can be grouped together in bundles.
To display the contracts/bundles for a single customer:
- Switch to the desired customer, see Product Master.
- Click on Contracts/Bundles in the tree. All the customer’s contracts/bundles are listed.
- Double-click on a contract/bundle in the list to open the record, or select Open from the record’s context menu.
Select (Sales) > Contracts/Bundles fto display the contracts and bundles added for all customers.
Adding Contracts and Bundles
To add a new contract or bundle:
- Switch to the desired customer.
- Click on Contracts/Bundles in the tree.
- Select New Contract or New Bundle from
the drop-down list.
The mask used to add new records is opened.
A unique number is assigned to the Contract number automatically. You can edit this number.
- Enter the remaining data.
- Save the record.
Assigning Products to a Contract
To assign a product to a contract:
- Switch to the desired product, see Product Overview.
- Click on
(Select) to the right of the Contract field on the Links tab.
- Search for and select the desired contract.
The contract number and other data are transferred to the product.
- Save the record.
Assigning a Contract to a Bundle
To assign a contract to a bundle:
- Switch to the contract you want to assign to a bundle, see Contracts and Bundles.
- Click on
(Select) to the right of the Bundle field on the Links tab.
- Select the desired bundle.
The contract number and other data are transferred to the bundle.
- Save the record.
