Roles

You can assign various roles to products and contracts.

For example, an insurance policy may involve persons in various roles such as the policy holder, the person paying contributions, the beneficiary etc.

The roles defined for a product are displayed on the Product Roles tab.

The roles defined for a product are displayed on the Roles to Contract/Bundle tab.

Adding Roles

To add a customer to a product in a specific role:

  1. Switch to the desired product, see Product Overview.
  2. Select New > New Role or click on (New) on the Product Roles tab.
  3. Select the customer (company, person, association) who should be assigned the role.
  4. Select the appropriate role.
  5. Click on Continue .

    The product record is opened. The newly added role is displayed on the Product Roles tab.

Note: Roles are added to contracts/bundles on the Role to Contract/Bundle tab.
