Keyboard Shortcuts

Your administrator can define additional shortcuts or reassign the following standard shortcuts.

The following default keyboard shortcuts are available in Aurea CRM web:

Global Keyboard Shortcuts

F1

Opens the online help.

Alt+Q

Moves to the next text field in the quick search.

Search Area and Results Lists in Edit Mode

Shortcut

Description

Tab

Moves to the next editable field or the next action.

Shift+Tab

Moves to the previous editable field or previous action.

Alt+0

Activates the Related Data area.

Alt+<Number>

Displays the tab at the corresponding position, e.g. Alt+3 opens the third tab.

Note: You first need to activate the Related Data area with Alt+0.

Enter

Starts the search (provided the cursor is in the search area).

Alt+L

Activates the results list (the first record in the list is selected).

Lists in View Mode

Shortcut

Up cursor key

Selects the previous entry.

Down cursor key

Selects the next entry.

Page Up

Selects the first entry on the current page. If the first entry is already selected, the view switches to the previous page.

Page Down

Selects the last entry on the current page. If the last entry is already selected, the view switches to the next page.

Home

Switches to the first page.

End

Switches to the last page.

Space

Switches to edit mode.

Esc

Quits edit mode. Any changes are not saved and the previously saved data is restored.

If a drop-down list is open, use Esc to close it.

Lists in Edit Mode

Right cursor key

Moves one character to the right within a field.

Left cursor key

Moves one character to the left within a field.

Tab

Moves to the next editable field.

If the current field is the last editable field in a row, the cursor moves to the first editable field in the next row. Changes to the current row are saved in the process.

Shift+Tab

Moves to the previous editable field.

If the current field is the first editable field in a row, the cursor moves to the last editable field in the previous row. Changes to the current row are saved in the process.

Up cursor key

Switches to the same field in the previous row. Changes to the current row are saved in the process.

Note: If the field is a drop-down list, use Ctrl+Up instead.

Down cursor key

Switches to the same field in the next row. Changes to the current row are saved in the process.

Note: If the field is a drop-down list, use Ctrl+Up instead.

Ctrl+Alt+N

Adds a new record to the info area displayed in the list.

MiniDetails

Shortcut

Displays the mini details for the selected record in a list.

Closes the mini details for the selected record in a list.

Tab View in Edit Mode

Tab

Switches to the next field and saves all data entered in the current field.

Shift+Tab

Moves to the previous editable field or previous action.

Ctrl+S

Saves the record.

Catalog Fields in Edit Mode

Opens a closed drop-down list and displays the available values.

Alt+↑ or Esc

Closes an opened drop-down list and resets the value to the previous value.

Enter

Selects the currently highlighted value.

Up cursor key

Moves to the previous value in the drop-down list.

Down cursor key

Moves to the next value in the drop-down list.

Page Up

Moves up one page in an opened drop-down list.

Page Down

Moves down one page in an opened drop-down list.

Any letter

The first entry that begins with the letter is highlighted.

Check Boxes / Radio Buttons in Edit Mode

Calendar / Daily and Weekly Planning in Edit Mode

Shortcut

Any letter

If a time period has been selected, a text field is displayed.

Enter

If you have entered text in a text field in the calendar, adds a new activity with the text as its subject.

Tab

Moves to the next entry if an entry is selected in the calendar.

Shift+Tab

Moves to the previous entry if an entry is selected in the calendar.

Del

Deletes the selected entry.
