Using CRM.phone with Skype (Enterprise Feature)

CRM.phone is integrated with Lync or Skype for Business client as an underlying telecommunication system.

Aurea CRM enterprise customers can use CRM.phone to make and receive skype calls. To make and receive skype calls CRM web users are expected to have Skype for Business client installed on their local systems. Calls made by the user from the Skype client or CRM.phone are automatically logged and synchronized in both the Skype client and CRM.phone.

Note: In this document, if the term “Skype client” refers to “Lync or Skype for Business client”.

CRM.phone functions are common to all underlying communication systems like TAPI or Skype for Business. While this chapter describes some of the features for CRM.phone functions for Skype for Business, CRM.phone function descriptions provided in the rest of the guide are equally applicable to Skype for Business, as they are for TAPI.
