Quick Dial

Quick dial allows you to instantly access certain important numbers.

You can store several telephone numbers in the Company and Person info areas in Aurea CRM, e.g. the number of the company and mobile numbers. You can access these numbers from the CRM.phone toolbar. Your administrator determines which of these numbers is available by default using the Quick Dial button. You can select all the numbers from the toolbar.

The Quick Dial button can be used to access telephone fields in the Company and Person info areas that have been added by your administrator, see Data Model in the CRM.core Administrator Guide.

Note: The quick dial function can only be accessed from the CRM.phone toolbar in the Aurea CRM win and is not available in Aurea CRM web.

To use the quick dial function:

  1. Click on (Quick dial).

    The number assigned to the quick dial function by your administrator is dialed.

    If no entry is found in the field assigned to the quick dial function, all numbers entered in this record are displayed and you can select a number from the list:

Alternatively:

  1. Click on the downwards arrow next to the Quick dial button.

    All telephone numbers stored for this record are displayed.

  2. Select the number you wish to dial.

    The number is dialled.

Aurea CRM web:

You do not have access to the quick dial function in the Aurea CRM web. However, you can still access the numbers entered in a record by selecting Make Call from the context menu. A wizard is started presenting you with a list of available telephone numbers to choose from.

Note: Additional telephone fields are not displayed in web.
