Configuring CRM.phone

CRM.phone is configured and activated from the Rights module. This is normally done by your Aurea CRM system administrator.

Your administrator creates telephony profiles, and associates one or more CRM.phone profiles to your account. A CRM.phone profile controls the telephony functions as well as the telecommunication system available to you. A profile can be associated with only one of the available telecommunication systems: TAPI; or Skype for Business. For example, you can have two profiles assigned to you, one allowing you access to the TAPI communication system and one for the “Skype for Business” telecommunication system.

Note: Skype for Business is available for use only from the Aurea CRM web and also requires an enterprise license.

To switch between CRM.phone profiles in an Aurea CRM web session or a CRM.win session, see Switching between CRM.phone Profiles.

Note: You require administrator privileges to access the Rightsmodule, see CRM.phone Administrator Guide.
