Getting Started FAQs: Account management
Here is a list of the some of the most commonly-asked questions about the account management features of Aurea Campaign Manager. To view the answer, click the question. To hide the answer, click the question again.
If you are an agency, follow the steps to create an organization. In the Organization Details section of the Create Organization page, click the Parent Organization drop-down list, and then choose a parent organization. The organization you are creating will then be a sub-account of the parent organization you chose.
A seat is the same as a unique login, or a user. Check your contract to verify the number of seats you are committed to. A sub-account does not come with a seat because you can assign the same user to administer all of your sub-accounts if you want. Also, your contract includes the number of clients you can support. You can set up one client per sub-account and some agencies prefer to group multiple clients into one sub-account.
If you have an agency license with only one seat, that means only one login or user comes with your package. You can use the same user to manage all of your sub-accounts. If you create new users in any of your sub-accounts or within the agency, they will incur additional seat charges for you.
Each of your sub-accounts can have its own white labeling. We are working on domain masking; in the future, we plan to allow different domain masking for each sub-account.
Aurea Campaign Manager provides much more than just email. It is an integrated marketing tool that lets you manage all of your online campaigns in one location. Besides email, it comes with unlimited Email Test audits, web analytics tracking, and landing pages. An interactive dashboard lets you manage your various marketing activities in place.
With Aurea Campaign Manager, you can track how all facets of your campaign are doing, not just email. For example, for a specific campaign, you can create a landing page, and then measure the response from email recipients vs. people who come from organic search or paid search. If your visitors enter specific information into your site, we can update their profiles and follow up with the appropriate messaging. Each interaction with your customers helps to create a richer data profile, which lets you target customers with more relevant content and improve your conversion rate.
Billing is based upon the number of clients you are supporting (see the first question in this topic about creating sub-accounts), the number of seats you have purchased and whatever other terms you have in your contract (for example, email volume). If you are not using Agency Edition and are interested in it, please contact the Aurea Support team.
We support agency customers and we rely on agencies to support their clients who use Aurea Campaign Manager.
By the fifth day of each month, you will have access to a monthly usage report for your previous month's usage. It has details for email sent, audits, page view and more and all explanations are inside the report. If you are an agency, it will break down the usage for each of your sub-accounts.
To view the usage reports:
- In the upper right corner of the screen, click Settings.
The Settings page appears.
- In the Organizations section, click the desired organization name.
- On the Organization Details page in the Reports section, click the month for which you want to review usage.
The report opens in MS Excel.
