Testing the Import

Learn to test import settings.

To start a test import:

• Select Test Imp/ Exp from the context menu.
• Select File > Test Imp/ Exp from the menu.

The following settings are tested:

• Field contents in the import file
• Field transformations
• Case conversions

The following settings are not tested:

• Conditions (and their results)
• Duplicate fields (fields selected several times and used to combine data in one internal field.
• Match-up options

Use the arrow buttons to navigate through all test results for the entire import file.

Numeric values that are not otherwise transformed are displayed using Aurea CRM's internal format. This makes it easier to sport errors caused by incorrect decimal symbols.

To change a transformation, click in the Transformed Content cell.
