Limitations
The following limitations apply to messages exported using Export Manager:
- Export Manager cannot be used to export time-based recovery archives.
- For envelope journaled email messages, the completeness of Discovery Archives is limited to the fields specified in the envelope journal report published by the journaling source.
For example, in Microsoft Exchange, a recipient cannot be categorized as both a distribution list recipient and an alternative recipient. In this case, Exchange places the recipient into only one category in the envelope journal report. Which means that when Email Archive selects which messages should be contained or not contained in an archive, it has only the information sent by Exchange not the original content of the fields.
