Synchronization and Stocks

Aurea CRM's stock management features () require all stock-relevant data to be present locally on all branch offices to track stocks correctly.

For details on stock management, see Inventory Management in the Business Logic Manuals.

This is taken into account when synchronizing:

  • Orders (BTB, OTC), material orders (FS), Refunds (OTC) etc. are only deleted by the synchronization process if stocktaking has been performed.
  • Companies and persons for which stock-relevant records exist (i.e. orders etc. that have not been subject to stocktaking) are not deleted by the synchronization process.

You can disable this behavior using the No Inventory configuration entry, see Communication in the CRM.core Administrator Guide. If this configuration entry is active, data that directly affects stocks is also deleted during synchronization.

Alternatively, you can completely disable stock management by locking the "Inventory Management" process (see CRM Process Configuration in the CRM.core Administrator Guide). This is the approach recommended by Aurea.
