Starting Communication
Learn how to start communication from command line and from CRM Win.
You can start communication as follows:
- From the command line, see mmco.exe Parameters, or automatically, see Automatic Communication.
- From the Station info area in the Communication module:
- Switch to the station record in the Station info area.
- Select Input or Output from the
context menu.
Doing so starts communication with all stations that are configured to communicate with the current station (e.g. selecting Output on the main office creates communication files for all branch offices that communicate with the main office), see Manual Communication.
Note: Aurea recommends that you always communicate with all stations. You can only communicate via the command line or from the Station info area on those days for which communication is allowed (Com.Mon – Com.Sun fields in the Station info area), see Defining Stations. - From the Communication info area in the Communication module:
- Switch to the current station's record in the Station info area.
- Switch to the desired record in the Communication info area.
- Select Output or Input from the
context menu.

Note: Stations can only communicate if a communication connection is defined between the
stations, see Communication Info Area.
