Output
Once a data stock download has been input on a branch office, only changes to data (new, edited and deleted records) since the last communication session are communicated.
This delta information is determined from the following:
- The Station info area stores the following information for each station:
- The date, time and success of the last input and output (Comm. Overview tab), see Comm. Overview Tab.
- The ID of the last catalog maintenance record communicated to the station (Cat. Maintenance tab), see Communicating Catalogs.
- The date on which deleted records are last communicated (Delete tab), see Communicating Deleted Records.
- The date of the last synchronization (Synchronization tab), see Synchronization.
- The date and time of communication logs for output files are used to determine which changes have occurred in the database since the last communication file is output, see Communication Logs.
- System fields in each record store information on when, where and by whom the record is added or edited, and whether the record has yet been communicated, see System Fields in the CRM.core Administrator Guide.
Start the output as described in Starting Communication.
Comm. Overview Tab
The date, time and success of the last input and output is stored for each station that communicates with the current station on the Comm. Overview tab in the Station info area.
For example, the station record for "NB 1" (station number 101) on the main office could be similar to the following:
The main office last output data to "NB 1" on 11/02/2010 at 12:04:00. The output is successful.
The main office last input data from "NB 1" on 11/02/2010 at 12:03:57. The input is successful.
