Catalog Maintenance and Data Stock Download
A data stock download only includes the most recent catalog maintenance record.

The ID of the last catalog maintenance record is sufficient to track the current status of catalogs on branch offices in the corresponding station records. All catalog values are output (Catalog info area).
You can use the w parameter to output all catalog values when
communicating automatically ("catalog data stock download"), see mmco.exe Parameters. If you
output data for several stations, and data has not previously been output for any of these
stations (the corresponding fields are empty in the station records), a catalog data stock
download is created automatically, even if you do not specify the w
parameter.
Changing the Catalog Maintenance Station
To change the catalog maintenance station in a live system:
- Ensure that the new catalog maintenance station contains up to date information on catalogs and catalog maintenance records, see Automatic Catalog Maintenance.
- Disable the Aut.Cat.Maintenance check box in the station record of the old catalog maintenance station, see Defining Stations.
- Enable the Aut.Cat.Maintenance check box in the station record of the new catalog maintenance station.
