Detail Plans and Detail Plan Products
Detail plans allow you to plan your strategies for key accounts (e.g. special offers, new product listings).
To add a detail plan:
- Switch to the desired account.
- In the tree view of the account:
- Switch to the Key Account Management node, select the desired account plan from the list and click on (New) in the list of detail plans.
or
- Click on the Account Plans node and select the account plan you wish to add the detail plan to. Click on (New) on the Detail Plans tab, see Account Plans.
- Enter data such as the Detail plan name and a time period.
- Save the record.
- You can add further data to the detail plan from the tabs under Related
Data.
- Plan Products : Click on (Quick Add) to add items in the item master as products to the detail plan, see Quick Add. Detail plans can be used to define listings quickly for multiple items and are relevant to marketing objectives, see Bulk Listing, Removing Items from Listings and Adding Marketing Objectives.

- Tasks, see Tasks.
- Document Links, see Document Management.
Note:
If a sales cycle is entered in the in the account plan, it is transferred to the details plan.
The validity period of the details plan does not need to be the same as that of the sales cycle.
