The business logic defined for campaigns and marketing activities is used to create marketing objectives, see Campaigns and Marketing Activities.Marketing activities including target groups and marketing objectives are added for the selected accounts. These marketing objectives are linked to any special offers created. The selected products are added to these special offers as special offer items. A suitable execution record is also added for each marketing activity.
If matching marketing activity records linked to a special offer already exist, the selected products are either added as new special offer items or existing special offer items for the selected products are updated. The execution records stored for existing marketing activities are also updated.
