Using the Design View

You can use the Design view to edit messages without writing HTMLHypertext Markup Language. A set of tags used to mark the structural elements of text files. HTML files include tags that create hyperlinks to other documents on the Internet. code. The Design view automatically corrects errors in your code and allows you to format text using toolbar buttons similar to those in standard word processors.

NOTE
  • If you want more control over your HTML code, for example, to avoid automatic code correction, you can disable the Design view for a message and edit the message using the Code view.
  • If you disable the Design view, it will not be available for the message until you re-enable it.
  • If you leave it enabled, you can switch between the Design view and Code view when editing the message.

Disabling or Enabling the Design View

  1. On the navigation bar, click Email Marketing > Messages. The Messages page opens displaying a list of all existing messages.
TIP

You can filter the list to display only specific messages.

  1. Point to the message you want and click Edit.
  2. Click 2. Edit Message at the top of the page.
  3. Do one of the following:
  • To disable the Design view, select the Disable Design View check-box.
  • To enable the Design view, clear the Disable Design View check-box.

Using the Design View

Consider one of the following:

  • If the Design view is enabled for the message, it automatically opens when you open the Edit Message page.
  • If you are using the Code view, click on the Edit Message page.
TIP

If is not enabled, the Design view is disabled for this message. To enable it, clear the Disable Design View check-box.
