Regulatory Review Rejection
If a document is rejected by a member of a regulatory administrators group, the document is rejected.
If the document is rejected, the following events occur:
- The document’s workflow status is updated to Regulatory Review Rejected
- The documents lifecycle status is updated to Draft
- Track changes are turned off
- New audit log entries are created to record the following termination events:
- eRejection entry - This entry indicates that the document is electronically rejected and contains information such as the user id of the reviewer who completed the task and the description showing the user’s task comments.
- Version Change entry - This entry indicates that the document version is changed as part of the Regulatory Content Review workflow. The description in the entry includes the previous and current version number, where the version number indicates the incremented version
- Lifecycle Status Change entry - This entry indicates that the document lifecycle status is updated from In Regulatory Review to Draft. This entry contains the incremented version number of the document.
- The overall workflow status on the Workflow Overview window is set to Completed and the Completed On date is set to the date and the time of completion
- The workflow History for that instance of the review workflow is updated to reflect the date and the time of termination
- The workflow initiator is notified via an email that the document was rejected
- All other members of the regulatory administrators group are notified that their review is no longer needed
