Review Task Page

The Review Task page contains a textbox that identifies the document to be reviewed. The textbox identifies the properties, including the document name, the title, the version number, and the author, and provides a link to the document and a link to the document’s metadata (Additional Details).

To complete the review:

  1. Select the review task either from the To-do list by clicking on the link provided in the Required Action column or from the email notification by clicking on the link to the task
  2. Click on the document name to open the document for review. Track changes are enabled to capture the user’s comments and markups on the document’s content. The system prompt a user to check in the document. When a document is in review, other reviewers will not see the reviewer's comments or will not be able to add their own comments when the document is checked out.
  3. Optionally, click on the Additional Details link to view the document’s metadata
  4. Once the reviewer finishes reviewing, the reviewer must provide comments for the document author in the Comments textbox and click Submit to complete the review task
