Campaigns for Sunshine Act Reports
Add a campaign and marketing activity to document transfers of value to accounts and persons that are relevant to Sunshine Act reports.
For information on campaigns and marketing activities, see Marketing Activities. The accounts/persons need to be added to the marketing activity as participants, see Adding Participants.
This following are used specifically for Sunshine Act reports:
- Select the appropriate Type and Sub-type in the campaign, e.g. "Research & Development" for clinical trials or "Donations & Grants".
- You can enter details on the costs for participating in a clinical trial,
accommodation, meals etc. on the Costs tab of a
participant.Note: The Costs: Donations field is only displayed for participants that are accounts. Donations cannot be entered for persons.
- You can enter details on the expected costs for the entire campaign on the Target Group Size & Costs tab.
- Click on Calculate to calculate the sum total of all costs entered in all participant records and write these values to the costs fields in the campaign record, so that you can compare the actual costs to the target costs, see Costs.
- You can enter information on any contracts concluded with participants for each participant. You can enter details on the fee and when it was paid.
