Automatically Generated Records
Learn to automatically generate records.
When adding or editing company/person/property records (e.g. changing the postal code), sales groups and property manager records are automatically added or updated based on the sales territory management records.
The Management Function, Rep, Company, Person, Business Area, Product Group and Main Contact Person fields are transferred to sales group or property manager records.
The Generated field is enabled in sales group and property manager records that have been added automatically. If the record is edited manually, the Generated field is disabled.
Note:
When applying updated territory management settings, only sales group and property manager records where the Generated field is enabled are updated. Records added or edited manually are left unchanged.
